There are many benefits to having an express, lunch time facial or an hour long more luxury facial here in Darien, CT.  All facial services are available for men and women.  Firstly I will cleanse your skin using a gentle effleurage massage, to work the product into your skin and to increase the blood flow.  Many clients when they wash their own face, rub the product into the skin, without taking into consideration the facial muscles, and the skins elasticity.  Clients may scrub their face, like they would scrub the floor.   Our skin needs more loving than that.

What does ozone do in a facial?

Facial steamers with an ozone option loosen the dirt that is found in your pores.  Ozone has a disinfecting and sterilising effect that helps fight all sorts of skin conditions and enhances Vitamin D.  Vitamin D aids in softer skin and a more youthful complexion.  Ozone can be found after a heavy rainstorm and near the ocean.  Most of us know how we feel better around the ocean or after a rainstorm when the heaviness of the air has gone.

How long will I be left under the steam?

Depending on what type of skin you have, will determine how long I leave you under the steam for.  If you have oily skin and are in for a deep cleansing express or hour facial, you will be under the steam for approximately 9 minutes.  During this 9 minutes, I will be performing other treatments on you during this time.  A gentle, shoulder or neck massage, or a facial massage might be performed during your treatment time.  You will not be left unattended during any part of your facial treatment, here in Darien, CT.  If at any time during the steam you feel it is too close, too warm or just annoying, please speak up and I can adjust to your comfort level.  I always check in with you during your treatment to make sure you are comfortable.
